You Don't Need to Be "Good at Math" to Get Better at It.

My concept-first math courses help students, adult learners, and curious minds build real understanding. Start wherever you are, move at your own pace, without fear or pressure.

Everything You Need to Learn with Confidence

Math with David is designed to help students build understanding, confidence, and enjoyment in mathematics at their own pace and without fear. Each course comes with everything you need to genuinely understand the material — not just get through it.

🎥 Video Lessons

  • Clear, engaging lessons that focus on understanding, not memorization

  • Step‑by‑step explanations that connect ideas together

  • Opportunities to think, discuss and reason mathematically

  • Creating a supportive learning environment that values growth over grades

  • Helping you see themselves as capable and confident math learners

Start Where You Are

These courses are organized by concept, not grade level. That means you can start wherever you need to — whether that's filling in a gap from years ago or exploring something new.

New courses added regularly.

1 - Number Sense

  • 12 Lessons

A series of lessons looking at the different types of number sets and the 4 basic operations (+,-,Ă—,Ă·) we use with them. We look at factors and multiples as well as decimals and percentages.

2 - Fractions

  • 10 Lessons

A series of videos starting at the the very beginning. What are fractions? What do they look like? How do we use them? Fractions are the first major hurdle students encounter. A weak foundation with fractions compounds and is a major contributor to student anxiety towards mathematics.

3 - Pre-Algebra

  • 16 Lessons

A series of videos making sure you have the background needed to solve equations. We look at operations with integers, exponents and exponent laws, radicals and polynomials.

4 - Introduction to Algebra

  • 9 Lessons

Algebra can be a turning point for many students. Why are we using letters in math now? We discuss the vocabulary used when doing algebra and learn the basic rules used to simplify expressions and solve equations.

5-Cartesian Coordinate System (x-y- axis)

  • 5 Lessons

An introduction to the Cartesian Coordinate system introduced by Rene Descartes in the 17th Century. How to identify and plot points in all four quadrants. A look at what slope is and how to plot and identify them.

Plus, Every Teaching Resource — Included
